About Bed Bath & Beyond

The original Bed Bath & Beyond store opened in 1971 in Springfield, New Jersey, under the name Bed 'n Bath. Warren Eisenberg and Leonard Feinstein anticipated a shift from discount stores to specialty stores in the market at that time.
